“People often ask me what I think my grandfather, John Mezzalingua, would think if he could see PPC today. After all, he started this business almost 70 years ago with just one drilling machine. Could he possibly imagine his company as a worldwide leader in connector technology? I think some expect me to say that he would be surprised at what we’ve become, but I don’t really believe that. He might be amazed by the technology, but I know he would be proud that PPC has evolved into a company thriving under the same core values he established so many years ago. PPC continues to stand firmly on the core values of honesty, passion and innovation — values that were strengthened by my father, Dan, and his fearless and visionary approach to business. These are the same values that are at the center of my own approach to leadership. On the line, in the management offices, in the customer service department, and in every PPC product shipped far and wide, our values are found everywhere you look. They are recognized in our latest patent and our tireless quest for technology yet to be discovered. They are seen in the way we treat our customers and respect our co-workers. They are our guiding principles, and they help all of us make that extra effort, strive a bit harder, yearn to discover, and take pride in what we do. The technology that surrounds us changes so quickly that it’s reassuring to know our core values have and will remain the same -- whether we’re riding a wave of success or taking a chance in a new market. In order for us to succeed, we have to have the courage to live them and demand them in others. These are the values that brought us here, and, with our constant vigilance, they will guide us into the future.”
