Field Sales Support Representative

Responsibilities:
- Provide product applications and installation training to broadband customers within assigned territory. Work at the local system level with tech ops managers and trainers for major cable operators (e.g., Comcast, Time Warner) and with corporate training organizations (e.g., Comcast University).
- Perform field ride-outs at cable systems, collecting information about installation practices and product used.
- Compile records and document performance of training session attendees as well as field ride-outs, with pictures and cause/effect reports.
- Maintain detailed reporting (“training book”) for both training sessions and ride-outs, broken down by salesperson and customer.
- Work closely with regional sales managers to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts as well as conversion opportunities.
- Work proactively at the local level to resolve issues ad provide sales support throughout the territory.
- 80% travel (Travel on Monday thru Friday)
Candidate Qualifications:
To be effective in this position, the person must possess (prioritized list):
- Excellent communication skills needed with customer groups (training background optimal)
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2-4 years of sales or training experience
- Technical proficiency
- Excellent judgment working with customers
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
- Sales presentation /training background
- Demonstrated success in sales as required
Priorities (90 Days):
- Gain general knowledge of cable industries
- Meet with applications engineers, lab, sales, and engineering personnel
- Competency with prep/installation of PPC drop and hardline connectors
- Field training with (2) senior application engineers – approx. 2 weeks time
- Deliver training independently to customer locations within 2 months
- Train on-site at PPC Corporate Headquarters with Applications Engineers, Lab personnel, Sales, Sales Management, and Marketing
Regional Account Manager - Germany

Responsibilities:
·Maintaining and growing designated sales territory by providing sales and service to both new and existing accounts
oThis includes; identifying, establishing, and maintaining in-depth and on-going relationships
·Exercising authority and accountability to resolve customer problems and creatively find ways to problem-solve issues falling outside of precedent.
·Preparing and managing a budget for your territory, utilizing in-house sales forecasting software.
·Being a representative of PPC at trade activities within assigned territory, including trade shows, conferences, meetings, etc.
·Providing the sales leadership with timely information pertaining to product quality issues, customer concerns, competitive information, budgetary variances, meetings, new prospects, territory progress against goals.
Candidate Qualifications:
·This position will require you to maintain an office in your home from which to effectively conduct PPC business.
·Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of field sales experience, most preferably in telecommunications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Well-developed organization skills are required

Tactical Sales Representative - Syracuse
In this role you will help research, identify and close new business opportunities among existing and prospective customers in order to achieve company and department sales goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Specifically, you will utilize effective sales and rapport-building techniques to gather intelligence from existing and prospective customers to close business. You will seek and obtain information on the key decision makers and work to identify what their needs are as it pertains to our products. Another instrumental part of this role includes developing and implementing a sales strategy for assigned territory or region in order to achieve sales and company goals. In executing this strategy, you will partner with PPC Field Sales Representatives to coordinate strategy and customer contacts as well as provide pre and post sales technical assistance. Other responsibilities include: creating and maintaining an effective database, record keeping on gathered intelligence, and submitting weekly call reports along with monthly & yearly reports to manager, field sales managers, etc. Interfacing with other departments will be required on an as needed basis. Everyone in our sales organization must know how to maintain effective customer relationships through timely, professional, courteous, and accurate responses. Limited travel may be required in assigned territory to enhance relationship and expedite sales cycle.
Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field and at least 2-3 years of experience in sales or related role. Excellent sales skills, including the use of WIN-WIN negotiation and closing techniques is required. Solution selling experience with a technically complex product is strongly preferred. Knowledge and familiarity of telecommunications connections (i.e. cable, electrical or telephony) is preferred. Well-developed organizational skills are required,including the ability to handle many details and multiple projects simultaneously, such as listening to the customer while accessing and interpreting relevant data and explaining/documenting response.
