PPC’s unique design incorporates multiple custom filters in one compact package with integrated dual female F connectors. Since female connectors are integrated into both ends of the trap, it is not possible to attach it directly to the tap without a jumper. Many MSO’s mandate that traps not be attached directly to the trap port to eliminate the risk of tap port breakage.

This unique design eliminates cascaded filters and the resulting problem of multiple external connections and potential moisture issues. Single piece filters also simplify installation and ensure that the filter is oriented properly for optimum electrical performance. All custom filters are built using strict tolerance specifications for proper torque and sealing properties.

Custom filters are available on their own, with a jumper and F security shield installed, or as a complete package – with a jumper, port seal, F security shield, and trap security shield all installed. Security shields are available in clear plastic, black plastic, or metal.
