Fiber Optic Distribution Panel

PPC’s Fiber Optic Distribution Panel (FODP) is designed to provide protection for fiber splicing of pre-connectorized pigtails and to accommodate connectorized termination and coupling of the fiber optic cables. The FODP offers easy-to-operate splice organizers made to protect the fiber bend losses. The 19 inch standard steel cabinet can be pre-loaded with any type of standard fiber optic adapter/connector types. This FODP is suitable for mounting in harsh conditions at sub-stations. The IP55 rated (as per IS/IEC 60529) FODP is suitable to terminate the fiber optic approach cables running down the transmission towers from the OPGW Joint Closures. PPC’s FODP has been tested for its performance in real-time situations, has third-party test certifications and complies with international standards throughout the manufacturing cycle.
