PPC's 2U 48F RackMount Loaded Patch Panels are used for termination and management of fiber backbone and equipment cables in central offices and bulk fiber distribution systems. They serve as the interface between field cables and equipment. Cables may be terminated direct or after splicing. Provisions have been made for internal fiber management by cable spooling with a minimum bend radius and stackable splice trays. The rack mounted versions are designed for flange mounting on 19 inch racks. The RackMount Patch Panels are made from carbon steel, which is pre-treated 1.2 to 1.5 mm thick, and pre-treated/painted with enamel or powder coated to ensure corrosion resistance. Finish colors are standard with gray or black, with other colors available upon request.
