2nd Shift: Monday – Friday; 3:30pm – 12am
The Set Up is responsible for the set-up of all production jobs in assembly.
Performs daily set-ups in a timely manner ensuring accuracy.
Troubleshoots and maintains all presses production equipment during assigned shift.
Verifies the correct blueprints, gauges and components are on the line in accordance to the correlating Shop Order Packet.
Completes the first 5 part check to verify production on the line is set up accurately.
Completes all required change-overs on shift and verifies set-up kits are maintained with the correct tooling equipment and job instructions.
Assists the Material Handler as needed to support production.
Remains cross-trained in assembly to provide coverage as needed.
Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion, abiding by company rules and safety regulations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Work is normally performed in a loud manufacturing environment subject to fluctuations in temperature.
Physical requirements needed to perform the job are eye-hand coordination and bi-manual dexterity sufficient to work with small parts, a normal range of hearing and eyesight to perform task, the ability to stand while performing work, and the ability to regularly lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds of material.
