Open Frame Rack

PPC’s Open Frame Rack has a design that allows users the flexibility of having an “all side access” of the mounted equipment. The open rack, which can be secured with bolts on the floor, is well suited for data communications and networking applications. The open frame rack is the best solution available for areas where space is a constrained and close cabinets cannot be installed.

The open rack is made of 1.5 and 2.0 mm steel, and available in 19” models with heights ranging from 27U to 45U. Multiple racks can be interconnected with the help of a baying kit. The top and side frames are provided with cable entry cut outs, which allow effective routing of cables. The rack comes with a duct cable manager mounted on both the rear and front sides of the rack. The duct cable manager has a snap-on cover, which allows the user to open the cover from the right or left side.

The rack is available assembled or disassembled, and ready to ship with all accessories included. Assembly of this open frame rack is simple and requires no special tools.

PPC’s open frame rack is available in RAL 9017 black powder paint finish and can be modified or customized with cabinet accessories to specific user requirements.
