Optical WDM Node, passive, separates combined input (1490+1550) into 1550nm RF(CATV) and 1490nm(data) output
A small scale solution offered for achieving CATV output from a single fiber in to which the signals from an optical amplifier is multiplexed using a WDM. This WDM node is an economic option to demux the 1550 nm signal from the fiber and convert the same in to a coaxial output. The device has a fiber output through which the data signal is terminated.
