The BuildOpt™ Terminal System Assembly (TSA) is an innovative solution for fiber distribution to living units in multi-dwelling or multi-tenant applications. The TSA features a rotating spool for fiber cable slack storage. After mounting the TSA, the installer simply pays out the desired length of fiber tail, utilizing the supplied pulling eye. The pre-terminated tail can then connect to any BuildOpt Collector Plate or Collector/Terminal Plate or directly to any Fiber Distribution Hub (FDH) with MPO ports.
TSA models are available with one or two 12-fiber tails of standard stub length (100, 250, 350, 500, 650, 800, or 1,000 ft) that provide the input connections for the 12-port/24-port SC module. Miniflex® cable is also available. The 12-port TSA can store one 12F ribbon cable tail up to 800 ft in length. The 24-port TSA can store two 12F ribbon cable tails up to 400 ft in length. Each 12-fiber ribbon cable tail is terminated with a low loss female MPO connector. Drop cables up to 4.8 mm in size are supported.
